# Custom WhatsApp Linking

Send OTP verification messages from your own custom brand number.

**ReOTP** allows you to connect your own WhatsApp accounts to send verification messages instead of relying on the platform's shared routing pools.

### Plan Limits:
- **Free Plan:** Connecting your own custom WhatsApp account is **mandatory** to send verification messages.
- **Paid Plans:** Connecting your own number is **optional**. You can rely on our auto-rotated platform numbers or connect your own to keep your brand consistency.

### Steps to Connect:
1. Go to the **Link WhatsApp** tab in your dashboard.
2. Enter a friendly identifier label and click Add.
3. Press **Link (QR)** to generate the sync QR Code.
4. On your mobile device, open WhatsApp, navigate to "Linked Devices" -> "Link a Device", and scan the QR code.
5. Wait a few seconds until the status badge displays **"Connected"** in green.
